Do you have a BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) or list of a complete list of unit cell phone numbers BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) strategy?
BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) and BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) are business approaches that allow employees to use their own software and hardware - laptops, smartphones, tablets and USB devices - for company purposes, and give them access to the corporate network.
Employee-owned devices are sometimes approved by the company and used in conjunction with company-provided devices. In other cases, employee-owned devices are part of a parallel system known as shadow IT : hardware or software within a company that is not supported by the organization's central IT department.
BYOC and BYOD are a response to the increasing physical and virtual mobility of employees. Employees want to access information from multiple locations and devices. Personal communication, storage, and collaboration tools give employees greater flexibility. For example, if an employee returning from vacation is delayed at the airport, personal cloud services and applications allow them to work without having to hold a work computer.
Another advantage, BYOC and BYOD free employees from the hassle of working with devices that are not suited to their needs. Regardless of whether employee-owned devices are supported by the company or not, they pose a security risk if they connect to the corporate network or access corporate data.
