The British Prime Minister recently said that AI-based technologies will soon allow every schoolchild in the country to switch to individual learning. How AI Works in Education
In November 2023, AI was used to conduct the Unified State Exam. Neural networks paid attention to suspicious behavior of students and helped to identify about 500 violations during exams in 84 regions. For comparison: in 2020, there were only 17 of them. Moscow State Pedagogical Univ. for the first time allowed writing diplomas using neural networks, and this is against the backdrop of the recent scandal with the diploma written by ChatGPT. Neural networks are already checking school essays, and in the near future they are planned to be used to check all homework.

This means, on the one hand, that AI-based models are developing every year, and on the other hand, that there are broad prospects for their application in public and private schools.

GenAI is most actively used for learning foreign languages. These can be the simplest services for translating words in context: “Yandex — with Alice”, Quizlet or Dictionary. Or services for checking grammar: Grammarly, Lingiux, Reverso, Ginger.

Popular apps like Duolingo and Babbel help you quickly build vocabulary and overcome language barriers. FluentU or ChatGPT can not only teach you a language, but also explain the rules.
