Just as we can add contacts to a Facebook custom audience, we can also remove them using this action within automation flows . Here we will explain the step-by-step process for you to use this function.
The first step is to select the Facebook Ads account and the custom audience , so when the contact encounters this action within an automation flow, they will be removed from the custom audience.

Configuration screen for ActiveCampaign and Facebook integration
Whenever a contact is removed from a custom audience through this action in the flow, they will have this activity information on their ActiveCampaign contact profile page , denmark phone number resource showing which audience they were removed from and through which automation flow.

Creating segments using Facebook Custom Audiences
In addition to automation actions for Facebook custom audiences, you can also use this integration to create segments within your lists .

Within the ActiveCampaign segment builder there are two conditions:

“It’s in the Facebook public”
It will display all contacts added to the specified Facebook Custom Audience.

“Not in Facebook audience”
It will display all contacts removed from the specified Facebook Custom Audience.

And you can find these segment conditions under “Category Options > Actions”:

Important: Only contacts that were added or removed from the Facebook custom audience through the ActiveCampaign automation action will appear.

Contacts that were added or removed directly through Facebook Ads will not appear in this segment.
