Timely : Your audience should receive your content at the time they are most receptive to it. This can be related to current events, time of week, time of year and the phase of the audience in the marketing hourglass.
Accessible : All your content should be easily accessible to your audience. This is achieved through language use, layout, structure and appealing images.
Dedication : Creating good content is not something you do on the side. If you want your content to shine, it requires a lot of attention and dedication.
Education : As a content marketer, you face the challenge of teaching your audience things they don't already know.
Entertainment : The messages you want to convey attract more attention and stick better if they are delivered in a fun and surprising way. With entertainment you can connect your message with positive emotions of your audience.
Empowerment : If your content inspires your audience to take meaningful action in real-world situations, that content is highly valuable to the recipients.
Revenue : Ultimately, all of your content should contribute to revenue. That doesn’t mean all of your content should be focused on making sales, but it does mean that it’s important to keep the end goal in mind when planning and producing content.
Relevant : Your content must be relevant to your target audience. If it is not, the content cannot contribute to the realization of your objectives.
Reputation : Your content must be original and contribute positively to your reputation or the reputation of the organization for which it was created.
