According to the results of 2022, MTS-Armenia earned RUB 7.94 billion, OIBDA (earnings before taxes, interest on loans and depreciation and amortization expenses) amounted to RUB 4.27 billion, OIBDA profitability amounted to 53.8%, net profit - RUB 804 million. The company serves 2.27 million subscribers and is the leader in the country's cellular market.

Team and Ucom also operate in the Armenian mobile market. At the end of 2022, they served 904 thousand and 594 thousand subscribers, respectively. The penetration rate of mobile services in Armenia is 126%, the number of uk whatsapp number list active users is 3.73 million.

The Armenian telecommunications market was once under the influence of Russian companies. In addition to MTS, VimpelCom (trademark Beeline) has been operating in Armenia since 2006: it acquired the country's largest fixed-line operator and the second largest (after K-Telecom) mobile operator, Armentel. The company began operating under the Beeline brand. Later, the international Veon group was created on the basis of VimpelCom, and Armentel was renamed Veon Armenia. In 2020, as already mentioned, Veon sold Veon Armenia to Team, a company created by people from Ucom.

In 2022, Rostelecom acquired the Armenian fixed-line operator GNC-Alfa. Rostelecom has been negotiating the sale of GNC-Alfa since 2017. In particular, in early 2022, the PSRC approved a petition to sell this company to the Cyprus offshore Molitro Hooldings, co-owned by the Armenian businessman Samvel Karapetyan (owner of the Tashir Group), who lives in Russia. However, the deal never took place.
