The authors use inclusive language to highlight the importance of implementing an efficient Employer Branding process in companies. In addition to explaining the step-by-step process for achieving corporate maturity from the employer brand perspective, they teach how to conduct truly effective management in line with the company's essence on a day-to-day basis. By citing relevant information and recent research to facilitate understanding of the topic, the publication aims to provide insights that are easily applicable to businesses.
The Tightrope Walker, by Manoel Horácio
The autobiography published by the Edições 70 imprint, from nigeria whatsapp data the publisher Almedina Brasil, follows Manoel in defining moments: his first job as a flower seller in his childhood to help his family, his initial position as a manager, in his early twenties, and his controversial dismissal from the position of CEO of Telemar, now Oi, in 2001, even though he had placed the company at the highest level of efficiency in the telecommunications sector.
We also get a glimpse into his life now, at 76 years old, retired, facing the challenges of living with Parkinson's disease, but still active, responsible for the family business, enjoying good music and poetry, between cycling and playing tennis. With a narrative organized into thematic blocks, without following a strict chronological order, the work addresses major themes that have always been relevant to the life of the biography.
Leadership, the drive to restructure companies, career learning and the importance of cultivating a good professional image are some of the topics highlighted. The new publication also features a preface written by Horácio Lafer Piva, shareholder and member of Klabin's board of directors.
