Build a Slack channel for your community

Post by Fgjklf »

Slack has taken the tech industry by storm with its easy-to-use team communication software . It’s common these days to be part of multiple Slack teams with hundreds of people who share common interests.

Your customers have a lot in common. They may overlap in their business challenges, organizational roles, and of course, the tools they use. Why not build a community of friends, blog readers , and consumers on Slack?

Your own Slack community can be a great place to let customers cross-pollinate ideas and allow you to communicate with them in a more human way.

Buffer has a great community on Slack , art director email list and many other companies are taking advantage of this tactic as well.

5. Make customer stories easy to tell
Mixpanel ’s analytics dashboard is easy to understand. This is helpful for clients as it makes the results obtained by businesses easily shareable.

Mixpanel's rise in popularity was due in part to users continuing to share screenshots of the product to show how they were able to understand how to improve their software .

If Mixpanel wasn’t so user-friendly, it probably wouldn’t have this amount of organic content sharing success stories.

You can do the same for your company's digital engagement.

Find out how you can help your customers tell their success stories and make that narrative as accessible as possible. If it’s about numbers, make sure they’re accurate and in the right context. Sending weekly stats may not be enough.

Make sure they notice when they have made significant improvements or achieved something you believe is successful.

Follow up with a phone call or Slack message to see if you can help them tell that story. And, better on their blog than yours – or both!
