Participation is often emotional

For that, we turn to Trust Insight's Social Networks 2020 Guide. What happened in 2019? To be honest, social media isn't going away anytime soon. However, where people spend their time on social media is changing. Users are no longer dedicating their time to public channels, choosing to share their time and knowledge in specific, private communities.

Which is growing : YouTube, Discord, Twitch, Slack, Reddit, Twitter, Instagram belarus phone data and TikTok Which one is decreasing : Viber, Snapchat, QQ, Facebook and Medium Which is losing followers (getting banned) : Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat and TikTok Take a close look at channels that are growing but losing followers: Users like to test channels, joining when they are relevant, and then leaving when the platform no longer meets their personal needs.

What is behind this change? Social media is aspirational. because it is tied to aspirations such as personal passion or the desire to be an expert. These aspirations based on emotions provide the basis for logs, shares, and participation. Recently, these channels have generated negative emotions. People are tired of fighting. For many users, public discussion on public channels has become an unwelcome challenge - instead of defending their position, people simply participate less.
